550ArticleraptorI think teachers just hated technology in general at my school. They would insult games, VHS, television shows, movies, and just about any other form of entertainment that didnt involve going outside or cracking open a book. I like this article. Good job Mar 28, 2013View
553ArticleAceNThaHoleMy teachers were mostly okay with what we liked in school. I had alot of classes that dealt with media and art so, they were mostly accepting of that stuff. But if they caught you with a game at school they werent so acceptingGhosts and GumshoesMar 28, 2013View
525ArticleVaporman87I must say, I had NONE of these "unpopular" retro toys in my day... with one exception - Clawful. But even regarding Clawful, I can confirm that he was not exactly the toy everyone just had to have in the MOTU line. Terrorcons were nowhere to be found in my closet. I had mostly G1 mainstays, and that was about it. I didn't even realize a Johnny Cage GI Joe had been produced. So, that is news to me! It does seem that the most unpopular releases almost always come toward the end of the toy line (or at least the end of that particular run of them). However, I would probably include every figure from the New Adventures of He-man. LOL Great read MatuX! Thanks for this.Favorite Unpopular Retro ToysMar 26, 2013View
527ArticleraptorThe Bob figure is just a crazy looking, crappy, crappy figure. Nice article though. You should check out my curse of the variant article for some more duds.Favorite Unpopular Retro ToysMar 26, 2013View
530ArticleMatuX2Yeah the bob the goon figure is pretty crappy but i like it :), actually now that i think of it clawful is not really that Un popular , i should have put Tusken raider from the original Star Wars action figure series Favorite Unpopular Retro ToysMar 27, 2013View
537ArticleVaporman87There were so many MOTU figures that were simply retooled versions of other characters that I think it eventually lead to the quick death of the line at that time. Think about it, all these other giant 80's properties are still selling big in big box stores, except He-Man. Now, you can still get brand new He-Man and The MOTU figures from MattyCollector.com, but the mainstream appeal of He-Man is just gone it seems.Favorite Unpopular Retro ToysMar 27, 2013View
516ArticleVaporman87A fun and unique list for sure. Lots of great tracks from some memorable artists, and some that I had long forgotten. It is a curious thing how often colors are invoked in song titles, and even movie titles. A wonderful read. Thanks for this!Top Songs from the 80s with a Color in the TitleMar 23, 2013View

501ArticleVaporman87I remember all of these games. Some were played more than others in my circle of friends. Probably the most played of these games was the staring contest, since it did not require violence or much physical prowess. By the way, the Chuck Norris clip is HILARIOUS! Great read, raptor.
