1729ArticleVaporman87Yeah they did get to tell Santa their wants. Funny thing too, as my oldest boy is very concerned that he may have told Santa something incorrect. I assured him that Santa is pretty smart, and I'm sure he'll know what he meant. LOLThe Santa DiariesDec 23, 2014View

851ArticleMissMYeah, a cartoon would have possibly helped Golden Girl. (I even think there may have been an attempt, but I don't know if anything was ever officially produced.) I remember as a kid looking at this line and only thinking, "Gee, what's with the pretend She-Ra line?" She-Ra was fortunate to be a spin off of He-Man, it stretched that whole fantasy universe out that much longer. Golden Girl did have some male characters, but they weren't a part of any commercial that I have ever found. Both lines existed in such a strange time for toy collecting though! 2807ArticleNLoganYeah, after three My Retro Halloween articles and a Monster Madness games article on Retrojunk, and one previous Halloween article here I am pretty spent on Halloween material. So I just went with an atmosphere piece or atmos-fear, a mood setting if you will. Trying to capture the essence of Halloween like lightning in a bottle. The Coming of the Autumn PeopleOct 08, 2015View
2389ArticleVaporman87Yeah, basically the whole card collecting/manufacturing craze imploded around the time the final movie in the franchise came around, and that is pretty evident here. I actually prefer the simple, plain style of the original series of cards. Reminds me of my days collecting Topps baseball cards. Once Fleer, Donruss, and Skybox got big in the game, things got way too complicated, flashy, and collector oriented. It wasn't about kids picking up cards and enjoying them, it was more about adults who wanted them simply for the value in a Beckett. That bubble burst around the same time that comic book values plummeted. Great retrospective on the Batman series and cards in general Hoju!Batman Trading Cards of the 80's and 90'sJul 13, 2015View

2125ArticleVaporman87Yeah, Danny was not a humorous character. More of a straight, squeaky clean type who helped keep the others grounded. Top 5 TV Dads of the 80'sMar 20, 2015View
