1032 | Article | MissM | Yeah, he was a bit short changed with this article. I never had him and really all I knew of him from the vintage toy was the commercial. I liked the idea of him being created into all these parts. Glimmer was a fun toy and I loved reading about your memories with your sister. I liked rooted hair too, but I was never one for brushing it. I hated brushing doll hair and I love hair! I was always annoyed that the hair would never look the same as before. But there was something also realistic about rooted hair that made the toys seem more real. I don't know if that makes any sense. I am glad you posted this comment! | Mar 06, 2014
1504 | Article | Hoju Koolander | Yeah, going to the Laser Tag arenas is pretty fun. The people who just hide out as "snipers" are lame, but most everybody is on the move and you never know who is around the next corner. My friends and I used to strap-on the laser tag gear to battle each other at a local elementary school around 9am at night rather than pay the $5-$10 a person. | Laser-Daze: Photon vs Lazer Tag | Nov 14, 2014

2941 | Article | massreality | Yeah, everyone really hates the whole Mark of Thorn storyline. I actually didn't mind it and liked that they continued it in the comics. It's a shame I don't hate it, because if anyone had a reason to hate it, it would be me. | The Michael Myers Connection | Oct 15, 2015
2125 | Article | Vaporman87 | Yeah, Danny was not a humorous character. More of a straight, squeaky clean type who helped keep the others grounded. | Top 5 TV Dads of the 80's | Mar 20, 2015
4344 | vhsCover | Vaporman87 | Yeah, could be better quality. I didn't realize it was so blurry when I was approving this batch. | The Abyss (1989) | Apr 06, 2018
3782 | Article | munkysrench | Yeah, Butterfinger was your crack addiction back in the day, lol. Hands down your favorite candy bar of all time as a kid. | Benjanime's Top Ten Halloween Candies | Mar 16, 2017
2389 | Article | Vaporman87 | Yeah, basically the whole card collecting/manufacturing craze imploded around the time the final movie in the franchise came around, and that is pretty evident here. I actually prefer the simple, plain style of the original series of cards. Reminds me of my days collecting Topps baseball cards. Once Fleer, Donruss, and Skybox got big in the game, things got way too complicated, flashy, and collector oriented. It wasn't about kids picking up cards and enjoying them, it was more about adults who wanted them simply for the value in a Beckett. That bubble burst around the same time that comic book values plummeted. Great retrospective on the Batman series and cards in general Hoju! | Batman Trading Cards of the 80's and 90's | Jul 13, 2015
2807 | Article | NLogan | Yeah, after three My Retro Halloween articles and a Monster Madness games article on Retrojunk, and one previous Halloween article here I am pretty spent on Halloween material. So I just went with an atmosphere piece or atmos-fear, a mood setting if you will. Trying to capture the essence of Halloween like lightning in a bottle. | The Coming of the Autumn People | Oct 08, 2015
851 | Article | MissM | Yeah, a cartoon would have possibly helped Golden Girl. (I even think there may have been an attempt, but I don't know if anything was ever officially produced.) I remember as a kid looking at this line and only thinking, "Gee, what's with the pretend She-Ra line?" She-Ra was fortunate to be a spin off of He-Man, it stretched that whole fantasy universe out that much longer. Golden Girl did have some male characters, but they weren't a part of any commercial that I have ever found. Both lines existed in such a strange time for toy collecting though!
