ArticleDalek227Like a few others I always think of Erik Matthews as well! At the start he was a clean cut handsome typical highschool boy. Maybe not straight A student, probably more like average. By the time it was time for college they had him acting insane. Another one was Becky from Roseanne. Now you could say the personality varied depending which actress was playing Becky, but Lacey played a very smart Becky at the start of the series and by the end she wasn't the same at all. In the updated version she's a total moron. While I'm are talking about Roseanne, I have to say similar for Jackie. She started out a friendly and funny woman who was strongly independent if maybe a little neurotic. By the middle of the series she was a total emotional wreck and completely goofy. Dec 16, 2018View
ArticleDalek227I checked recently and I joined February 21, 2006. The one thing that always struck me was that I was stupid when I was filling out the form to join and put my real first and last name as my username. There was never anyway to go back in and change it LOL I looked in my private messages and I had a message from MissPiggy from 2009 and Pinface randomly in 2012. I vividly remember Nick Rules big time and Sunriser (the one with the horse avatar) and I recognize Thylacine's avatar. Bassman of course. I remember the whole Reaper thing going down but I didn't pay a lot of attention to that. I know that at one point I had him on Facebook but never actually talked to him. I remember Eddstar as being older, like my parents age. (I was 26 when I joined). It was great to post a thread and know that you'd nearly instantly get a response. Now when I check in periodically it's the same threads I've accidentally posted to twice that's eight years old.Remembering RetroJunkDec 16, 2018View
ArticleDalek227I'm glad I joined this site the other day. I had a private message in retorjunk from 2012 about this site being open and I never officially checked it out until now. Remembering RetroJunkDec 16, 2018View
ArticleDalek227I remember one more called USA High. I can't remember what channel it was on (haha maybe USA?). I remember WGN on our Satellite played Two episodes of Good Morning Miss Bliss (But on the guide it was called Saved By The Bell) and then TBS would play like four episodes of normal saved by the bell. 5 days a week. There was for sure not one episode I missed.Attack of the “Saved by the Bell” ClonesDec 16, 2018View
ArticleDalek227I loved Little Critter! A few of my favorite childhood books were More Spaghetti I Say (about two monkeys, one wants to play but the other is too busy eating), Chicken Soup With Rice, those Sweet Pickles books also those Serendipity books. My favorite children's books growing upDec 16, 2018View
ArticleDalek227What I HATED about Mouse Trap was it was such a pain in the butt to reset up after you'd attempted to play it and it didn't go right. I had the Little Mermaid and Gauntlet I believe for the Tiger Games. I think my younger sister had a Mary Kate And Ashley one bwhahaFive 90’s Toys That Never Lived Up to the HypeDec 17, 2018View

ArticleDalek227I really liked the Santa in Santa Clause The Movie. Even though it was like extremely commercialized (It was practically a McDonald's commercial), I loved the first half hour of it where we learn his origin story. The rest was OK, but I always thought it was odd that Santa didn't bring Joe back with him that FIRST Christmas, I mean..he KNEW Joe was homeless LOLFavorite Movie and TV SantasDec 19, 2018View
ArticleDalek227That was the best, that last day of gradeschool before the holidays. I think we even had a small party in Jr high as well. Gradeschool was the best though. Like you said, eating treats, drinking punch and watching movies. Maybe exchanging Secret Santa gifts or getting a small treat from the teacher before you get on the bus and look forward to opening presents in a few days. Back then I swear Christmas break felt much longer. RetroJunk Classic: The 90s Holiday Trilogy: ChristmasDec 19, 2018View
