3994ArticleVaporman87I tried so hard to stay awake some nights as a kid, but often found it to be futile. However, when I was able to do so, Elvira was always there to greet me. Her and old Godzilla movies. And if I made it almost all the way through, I would be treated to random women in leotards and leg warmers sticking their butts in my face while saxophone music played. Seriously... who was watching this? Jul 22, 2017View
3995ArticleVaporman87Not to mention I'm pretty sure Cap and Iron Fist can throw a punch well beyond anything a human will ever throw. WRONG Spidey! I like Iron Man's "for 2 seconds" line. That all changed with the Hulkbuster Armor. LOL Also, Wolvie said "dumb butt". That's funny right there.Wolverine a Reader's Perspective Part 19Jul 22, 2017View
3996ArticleVaporman87Best choice here is easily Rutger Hauer as Magneto. Man... I would have LOVED to see that. Best Magneto ever, right there. Worst choice... Bob Hoskins??? Uh, no. Yeah, he's short and loud, but c'mon. The man would have had to work out for years to get ready for that part.My Dream Cast for a 1987 X-Men movieJul 22, 2017View
4011ArticleVaporman87While Hoskins may be perfect in some ways, he just lacks an intimidating frame. Like I said, he would have had to go ape on the weights for a very long time just to come close to Wolvie's shape. I would probably have gone with somebody like Tom Cruise. He's short, he can pack on muscle when he needs to, and he's insane. Kinda like Logan. My Dream Cast for a 1987 X-Men movieJul 22, 2017View
4050ArticleVaporman87I think the saturation of "ninja" in the late 80's was it's peak. Even I had a full on ninja outfit (as ordered from one of the many ninja magazines I had), including foam nun chucks, rubber throwing stars, and a sword. You couldn't escape it. Everyone wanted to be a ninja. Revenge of the Imaginary Ninjas!Aug 22, 2017View

4052ArticleVaporman87I think we all found inspiration in some form of cartoon in our youth. For me, it was He-Man and various superheroes, but for some it is something more humorous and childlike. Whatever the case may be, those first characters always seem to leave the biggest mark, even if they aren't exactly our best efforts. Lars Dakota: The lost original characterAug 22, 2017View
4053ArticleVaporman87Sun Man is hilariously awesome! I didn't start branching out into sillier shapes and more cartoon-like characters until much later. I was so focused on the He-Man/Superhero style of character for so long, I didn't much consider anything else. But when I did, that is when I realized that I should have done it much sooner. It fit my style better. The Saga of Sun ManAug 22, 2017View
4071ArticleVaporman87Ha! That is absolutely priceless. This reminds me soooo much of the horror stories that my best friend and I wrote in elementary school and into junior high. I lost all of those stories in a move, but I can remember bits and pieces. Thank you for sharing that NLogan. That was great.Haunted Hotel an 11 year old's narrativeAug 26, 2017View
4072ArticleVaporman87Nothing seem to stir creative juices more than inner turmoil. There is definitely a lot going on behind all this. That much is pretty obvious. Looking at it with no knowledge of the events that inspired it, it just seems like a boy's wildly creative mind putting pen to paper. It's teen vkimo at his best. Me, Myself and MacReiAug 26, 2017View
