2218Favorite comic book based movies anyone? That reminds me, raptor, I liked The Shadow (1994). I even watched it again recently. My introduction to the character was from the 70s comic book series, of which I picked up a bunch of early issues one summer vacation, from the bargain bin at a strip mall book store in Ocean City NJ. After that, I got a cassette box set of the 30s radio show, which was a little too dry for me. As for my absolute favorite comic book movie...well, it's way too hard for me to pick. I looked through this list and kept bouncing from one to another to another. All I can say for sure it is NOT Barb Wire.shakin steakMay 20, 2013View

2216Favorite comic book based movies anyone? One I haven't seen mentioned is The Phantom. I thought that was a pretty cool flick, though the casting of Treat Williams was a bit of a let down.:skep:raptorMay 20, 2013View

2214CheersI loved Coach and Norm the best, though Sam was good too. I was an awesome show and one I have good memories of watching. I hated to see it sign off for good. :'(raptorMay 20, 2013View

2212Who Framed Roger Rabbit? It is definitely a classic. It was well written and didn't rely on the human/cartoon gimmick too heavily for it's entertainment value. Vaporman87May 20, 2013View
2211You might be retro if......you find yourself doing "wax on - wax off" while washing your car.Vaporman87May 20, 2013View
2210Dick Tracy (1990)I think stylistically they are somewhat similar. Obviously Sin City is far more violent and graphic. That being the case, I would prefer Dick Tracy over Sin City. I tend to go for more lighthearted, family friendly fare. :DVaporman87May 20, 2013View
