2187What type of punishments did your school give out?I had recently obtained a butterfly knife. I was no gangster and I didn't know any. I couldn't do the flippy-thing. I just thought a knife could come in handy, and bought one from a friend for five dollars. I had detention. This was freshman year. It was still nice and warm outside. Not two months into high school and I was already getting into trouble. That one detention I had in junior high was really kind of a mistake. I hadn't known I was doing anything wrong. But now, I was actively rebelling, and learning about consequences. I don't know what the detention was for, but smoking on school grounds is a pretty big possibility. Which was slightly silly, considering this was the first year that smoking was not allowed in the indoor atrium. But whatever. There I sat, in detention. In a huge, nearly empty cafeteria, so all the kids could be spread out and unable to talk to each other. I was drawing, as usual. I needed to sharpen my pencil. Now you know where this is going, right? I didn't think there was a pencil sharpener in the cafeteria. I didn't want to bother the teacher in charge, and I doubted he would allow me to get up and use a pencil sharpener if there even was one. I didn't even think I could get his attention without being "disruptive". (I later learned he is a pretty cool guy and I'm sure he would have. He had an [inconspicuous] earring and a full beard, and he liked the rock n roll.) So, out comes the butterfly knife and I start whittling away at the pencil point. I was wrong. It was very easy to get the teacher's attention. I was going, sharpen, sharpen, for all of about five seconds, when I sensed a presence in front of me. I looked up. The grizzled, glaring teacher towered over me. He held out his hand. Hopefully and nervously, I handed him the pencil and smiled. "<b>The knife!</b>" he sternly rejoined. Next thing I know, I am in the vice principal's office. A police officer shows up. He searches my bag. He pulls out a container of bubbles. "What is this?" he asked. Bubbles, I told him. He didn't believe me. He opened the bottle, probably expecting to find drugs. Nope, just bubble solution and wand. The weather was still nice. It was fun--a little incongruous(?) but fun, perhaps because of that incongruity--to blow bubbles outside before school. My box of crayons didn't have drugs in it either, but I'm sure would have been searched as well, if it was in my backpack instead of my locker. That's about it for what I remember. Maybe my parents were called. I don't know what happened to the knife. It went away. Into that magic closet of cool things that get confiscated. The next knife I had was also confiscated by police, on my 21st birthday. That one was also on my person for entirely innocent reasons. I've since given up trying to have one, since they seemed to get me in trouble more often than actually being useful.shakin steakMay 17, 2013View

What is this one about/how is it played? </blockquote> Well is almost like if you where playing R-type on Turbo Grafx 16. Steel Empire is a multi-directional scrolling shooter. Where you can shoot in multi-directions..... You can choose between a plane or a blimp. The game also have a part where you level up in the game. It's really fun and challenging I myself even play Steel Empire to this day it never gets old. Also If your going try to beat this game. Good luck on trying to. The game is hard I never beat this game before but I'm trying to. arizvegaMay 17, 2013View
