I saw some of the World's Smallest toys at the Mast General Store a few months ago, they were really cool.

I've hadn't heard of the Wiz-z-er until this morning but it looks pretty cool. I'm sure there is someone on this site who is more familiar with the top and could write a great article about it.

@massreality.....I love the Mast General Store! I'm not real far from there. Did you go to newer store in boone, or the original between Boone and Banner Elk?

This sounds like a cool opportunity. I do something very similar for a leather review site, BestLeather.org

We pretty much reach out to manufacturers, procure samples and write reviews based on our experiences with the goods. I'd be down to help out and write a piece.

In fact, I think this type of writing could be a great content section for Retro-Daze where we review toys/video games/etc.  It would involve reaching out to companies, we don't charge but we'd pretty much get free products to review and the company would get exposure. Hook me up with a retro-Daze email and I'll make some magic happen haha

@mickyarber I've been to both the original and Boone locations (my family lives about forty five minutes from there) but the location where I saw the World's Smallest was the downtown Winston Salem location. I attend quite a few pro wrestling events in Winston and I love swinging by Mast whenever I'm in town.

When I was in middle school I was heavy into Hot Wheels, so much so that I barely noticed the Wizzzer. However there was that one day in homeroom where the guys were throwing Wizzzers at each other. The trick was to try to catch the Wizzzer with your open palm and have it balance right in your hand.

IIf you've been to the original location, then I'm sure you've seen the old, original wooden mail boxes inside. My great grandfather built and installed those.

I like the idea of a review section. A new way to add content. Going to look into this some.

Have you thought about linking to reviews on youtube.  I know myself and others who have reviewed retro products on there and they could esily be imbed here and would be a benefit to both RD and the creators of those videos on YT.  Something to think about.

This is a great idea. Did anything ever come of it?
