I was actually wondering why I haven't heard this particular song this year. It's not one I necessarily care about, but knowing why it has been pulled is absolutely ridiculous.

I think some blogger got bored and the media jumped on it for clicks. This songs been playing every year for the last 5 decades...and now it's a big deal. Us even acknowledging this is holly - er I mean, folly.

Just to hit home how truly stupid this controversy, just yesterday I heard the Tool song "Prison Sex" (which is about exactly what you think it is) on the radio.

So that song is okay, but "Baby, It's Cold Outside" isn't.

It's funny where Baby It's Cold Outside came from. (see Wikipedia)

Personally I don't care for this song or holiday music in general. Most of it is overplayed and aggravating. Christmas is a happy and nostalgic time for me but the music can go hang.
