Like I keep saying, Sci-fi movies and Halloween just seem to go together, in my opinion. And Halloween wouldn't be the same without, "Queen of Blood", from 1966.

It's funny, I never watch much sci-fi this time of year. Some of these looks like a lot of fun though, so I'll have to check a couple out before the month is over. www.AnthonyJRapino.com

And it gets better . . . I've been saying for years that just as video games get turned into movies, movies can be turned into awesome video games with the storyline broken into chapters. "Queen of Blood", would make an interesting game if new spaceships filled with aliens land on Earth and brave bands of humans have to fight them off. |

If you've never seen "This Island Earth", from 1955, you're missing a great one! Here is a movie that captures the early development of electronics in a serious manner, with excellent acting and action. Maybe this will be the old sci-fi movie that will be turned into a video game.

This Island Earth has been on my radar for years, but I have yet to watch it. I couldn't tell you why that is, but I keep passing it by. Time to finally watch it! www.AnthonyJRapino.com

I'm grateful to MST3K, a lot of old movies got another chance to live. |
