Robert Pattinson plays as Batman. Plus, rather than this being an origin story, it'll take place one year after Bruce Wayne became Batman.

Looks great! I like that they are leaning into the world's greatest detective aspect of Batman. Also, it will be interesting to see a younger, more brutal Batman.   

I know nothing about this Robert Pattinson guy, but I'm confident he'll do a good job.

I've been replaying the trailer and I'm very impressed by the tone. Batman as a character has to be featured in a movie that gets the tone right. Dark always works, but not bleak. That's where the other characters are so important. The supporting cast can offset Batman with a sense of balance; "the needs of the many outweight the needs of the few, or the one".

Know what I mean?

Saw it tonight.

Remake or not, it's still a winner. It's got that dark, dramatic tone that makes Batman films so good.

And the soundtrack is different from other B-Man films I've heard.

I don't think I've seen anything with Robert Pattinson in it til now. He's actually a great actor.

well at least the twilight/robert pattinson memes are finally over, i was getting tired of seeing posts like "durr hurr he's a sparkling vampire and it took him this long to become a bat!"

Honestly, Ben, until I heard about this new Batman portrayal, I had no clue who Robert Pattinson was. I've never seen a Twilight film.
