Wasn't it confirmed some time back that the creator of NBA Jam disliked the Bulls, so he programmed the game so that if Detroit was playing Chicago, they always lost... or something like that?
EDIT: Ahhh, here it is. Not exactly THAT extreme, but there was some malicious coding against the Bulls. Not that I care, I hated them too.  You love this signature.

Michael Jordan was never included in the game. I thought it was unfair considering how strong he was.
