Rick Ace Rhodes
Red Water (2003)

This was a made for TV movie that I enjoyed watching as kid back when it aired on TBS. Watching it now as an adult, it seems kind of dumb in many aspects but I guess I'll give it some slack since I used to enjoy it as a kid.

The Founder (2016)

So I saw this film on Thursday night. I have to say, it's actually a really interesting movie. I never thought the founding story of McDonald's would be so interesting. Unfortunately, it's a rather sad story. There really is no happy ending to the film. As my grandmother said repeatedly throughout the movie: "Ray Kroc is a real pr*ck".

Mr Magic
Transporter

One of those action movies you just hate to see end. Such an exciting kick-butt film!

5 stars!

Power Rangers (2017)

Hmm,

Okay, so I thought it wasn't half bad. I try to be objective with reboots and such and not just a obstinate retro goon. The movie had some great comedic moments and there wasn't anything particularly cringe worth but you can tell the movie was tailored to today's teens. The music in spots, I could have sworn Kimberly was skipping holding her weapon like Harley Quinn and the movie definitely ripped off Breakfast Club at the campfire scene. The outfits looked great, Goldar did not. Rita can have my gold filling anytime she wants.

I've yet to see it, but I've heard that the marketing for Krispy Kreme doughnuts was creme-filled throughout the movie. Was that super distracting, or something that you could just glaze over?

The trick is donut think about the blatant plug. While they did milk the advertising at least it was skim in parts and the whole movie overall had about 2% Krispy Kreme related dialog. Don't watch it with your wife though, Kimberly was hot and she might get jelly.

I'd give it about a 3/5. The product placement was hilarious. I liked the inside jokes and the Go Go Power Rangers scene was the best.

Saw Hitman's Bodyguard. Fun movie though tone is all over the place at times.

I thought Power Rangers was somewhere in the 30-40 percent range. For a movie like this it could of been a whole lot worse then it was, but it also could of been a whole let better.
