It could be that the formula hasn't changed but you have. When people get older their tastes change. The configuration of the tastes buds are different. They start to decrease little by little over time. So things you tasted as a young kid may not be exactly 100% of what you remembered. Who knows.

The discussions are very lively around the Cafe - always happy to stop by guys.
Had a great time at Free Comic Book Day - 2017.  Looks like Captain Canuck is heralding the relaunch of a all new Canadian Superhero universe. The plans are to broaden the reach through all media platforms with expected interest outside of Canada. Who knows - we may even get a new YouTube series to pick up where the 2013 series stopped. The only weakness I found in the 5 episodes from 2013 is the quality of the voice actors. To my ears the voices do not carry the necessary "weight" to give heft to the characters. I'm not interested in the fame of the voice actors - they have to sound right, otherwise the story loses my interest. Of course my opinions may not be shared by you guys - take a look: |
