How exactly is it that Joan Jett and the Blackhearts were NOT already in there? Seriously?

How does Green Day get in but Operation Ivy hasn't? I don't care if they only made 2 albums, they were BEYOND influential and thought-provoking with Jesse Michael's challenging lyrics and their talented musicianship. Ugh, congrats to all though, good on yah Lou!

They're really picky about who should get inducted.

Cool. Big fan of green day, joan jett and stevie ray vaughan.

Maybe someday, the original Smashing Pumpkins will get in. If they ever reunite.

They deserve it too but bands like deep purple, judas priest and iron maiden should be before them.
