Hey there, RDazers, long time no see.

I used to be pretty active here, back when I sat on the computer with unfetttered internet access and slow call volume five days a week. Well, that all changed back in October or November, when I started getting a new job. I had been looking in a casual manner for about six years, and something finally hit.

It's in a secured location. Federal background check, drug test, and a lot of paperwork were required, followed by three months of training. Three more months from now, my probation will be finished.

The health insurance is much better and so is the pay. Downside is the schedule is very inflexible, the hours are odd, and I can't play online at work any more, leaving just home, where I often have better things to do than computer-couch potato.

So that's what I've been up to. Now I just need to finish the house renovation and I can relax.

Great to see you around again shakin! It's great that you have found a better paying job. Do you think you can make a career out of this one? Keep at it, man. Living the dream!

Yes I do. It never hurts to keep an eye out for something even better... but there are a lot of "lifers".
