Ralph Bakshi did a great version of lord of the rings in 1978, such a shame he never finished off the rest. A poster I found.
The guyver 1989
The great manga series, they got to there friend the detective who turned into a super zolord with lasers as weapons. I heard that the ending was sho turning into a gigantic guyver that I think ADV completed.
Dungeons and dragon Requiem
They did reach home at one point when venger came through a portal or fair ground in one episode but they never reached home and stayed there. I heard the last episode was Requiem when you learn dungeon master is Vengers brother.
