I figured it was only a matter of time Dan "Get in the Van" Schneider would leave considering all the allegations against him and his creepy behavior. I'm guessing Nickelodeon heavily encouraged him to step down.

all weird behavior aside, i'm not surprised after butch hartman just left himself because the modern nick execs expect their shows to build and build, unlike spongebob which has just become mindless stupidity for kids and is the channel's life support.

It is odd how Dan's name hasn't come up in the #MeToo deluge...yet. But I won't lie. I loved All That when I was younger and Drake and Josh is a guilty pleasure of mine.

In all seriousness, given all the rumors that have spread about him over the years, it's only a matter of time before he falls victim to the #MeToo movement. I enjoyed a lot of Dan Schneider's shows. In fact, one of the last live-action Nick shows that I enjoyed was Drake and Josh, which I actually began to love more now than I did when it originally aired. I also grew up watching All That, Kenan and Kel, and The Amanda Show. So, this feels like the end of an era, along with Butch Hartman leaving Nick. But if the abusive behavior is true, then yes, it probably is best that he leaves Nickelodeon. And on another note, yes, I am a little surprised he didn't fall under the MeToo movement as well.

I'll always love the shows that he did since I grew up with a good chunk, but good riddance.
