I like this look a lot, actually. While I hear this won't be his final Joker look, I wouldn't be disappointed if it was. It's so much better than the look of Jared Leto's Joker. Since there is at least one Joaquin Phoenix movie that I have enjoyed immensely (Walk the Line) and since I'm kind of digging this look, I'm going to be optimistic and say that this has the potential to be a good movie despite the fact that the DC movies have been uneven in quality. I'm still not sure that Joker actually needed an origin movie or that he needed to have his own movie separate from Batman, though.
