The retail giant that has been a cornerstone of every American mall has announced it's filing for bankruptcy. This is coming after several years of severe financial issues for the company.

This was only a matter of time. I was actually surprised there were still Sears stores around. I never was a Sears person, but I did LOVE the Sears catalogs that came out around Christmas time. They should keep the company going JUST to make those.

They had to merge with K-Mart...

Looks like Sears is safe...for now.

I wonder if this guy knows what he's getting himself into. I feel like it's just a matter of time before Sears follows in the footsteps of so many brick and mortar retailers. 

I wouldn't expect Sears to be around for another 133 years.
