In 2012, 30 years after it aired (26 years in the US), some studio in Europe brought back the cult classic (Cult Classic in the States anyway) French Anime The Mysterious Cities of Gold (For those who don't know about it, there's a link in my next comment) with new episodes. While it was dubbed into English, said dub was only ever broadcasted in Australia. Quite frankly, I consider it unfair when other nations get awesome stuff that we don't. But it is what it is. That said, I'm trying to get the show imported to North America once more. Please sign if you're able to (or if you grew up with this gem and want closure) and thanks in advance.

And for those of you who didn't have Nickelodeon in the 80's, weren't allowed much television, had an isolated childhood void of anything fun, etc, The Mysterious Cities of Gold was a French Anime from the early 80's about a boy named Esteban whom in 1532 sets sail with an expedition bound for the Americas where Esteban hopes to find his father. To learn more about the show, here's a video all about this cult classic gem o' yesteryear

it's not as active as one might think here, some days we'll all be absent and you'd be lucky to see two posts getting a new comment. we could use a lot more members, honestly.

In all fairness, this is my first time on the website in 8 years so I'm still learning the new ropes of the website. Huh... So it's not as active as it was during the RetroJunk days

In that case, looks like I found my new social media platform *said she ironically returning to one she used years ago* So long Fascistbook (actually I said farewell to that men's room a little over two weeks ago and feel great about it)

Well, somewhat fresh. I did post here months ago but haven't really contributed since. Although with the fact that I'm off Fascistbook (literally what I call Facebook for reasons I won't go into here) for good, that may change. Prior to that, I was a member when this was RetroJunk
