You know what books I loved growing up? The "Where Are They?" series by former Silver Age Comics Artist Tony Tallarico (Known for Lobo (a story about an African American Sheriff in the Old West) and notorious for those Bobby Sherman comic books I admittedly want). The books came out in the early 90's and existed for the sole purpose of cashing in on the success of the Where's Wally/Waldo book series. Rather than focusing on one character each book, the "Where Are They?" books focused on different characters. Some generic creations like an alien named Laura, some boy dressed like an aviation pilot named Freddie, there were even holiday themed ones. Like for Halloween, you had Where's Wendy and Find Frankie, and for the Christmas season, Search For Santa. These books aren't as well remembered and are much easier to look at than a Waldo book, but they still hold a place in my heart. Here are photos of just some of the books
