By the end of the 70's every cast member from Monty Python was at the peak of popularity and made opportunities for guest appearances, TV and movie cameos and, in the case of John Cleese, host television specials.

The Norwegian Broadcasting Corporation (NRK) asked John Cleese to host a TV special as Norway's entry in the Montreux Festival Rose D'Or for 1979.

John Cleese certianly does his best "Basil Fawlty" host presentation as he lets known his true feelings about Norway and its people! Let's just say that this television special was very popular on campus and was something of a preview of more fun to come from the Monty Python gang in the 80's.
