i'm sure the show has its fans, i remember when the first season was still kind of new social media was just blasting this show with criticism only for some to slowly warm up to it. i'm not a trekkie but i'm sure a few peeps here are.

When I first saw this thread, the first thing that came to my mind was "Steven Universe"

I'm not sure what to say. As I watch Lower Decks, part of me wants to like this series. But honestly, the tone of the humor has no effect on me. Scenes that should make me laugh, fall flat. I'm convinced that I'm too old, Lower Decks is for a younger audience.

maybe someone was just sitting at their desk at home alone and immediately pondered "you know what star trek needs? a rick and morty makeover!" and somehow out of corporate greed, it happened.
