The events of September 11th always lead me to remember the wonderful people I've encountered throughout my life. We share so much to be grateful for and I want to share my belief that the United States, and the Constitution at it's core, form a union that points to a future that generations, yet to be, will find worth living for.

Twelve years ago I exchanged emails with Bill Owen, thanking him and Virginia Gibson, for their excellent work on an outstanding television show for kids everywhere. Bill Owen was overjoyed to chat with a fan of the series.

ABC News division's "Discovery" series ran from 1962 to 1971. It is amazing to look back and see what passes for children's entertainment when I was growing up!
