Some of my earliest memories go all the way back to 1959, and even then the dawn of the 21st Century was ever present. Books, magazines, comic strips, movies and television; every medium seem aimed at the turn of the next century.

From 1967 comes a FutureVision video presentation from the Philco Electronics division of Ford Motor Company called, "1999 A.D."

I love that the mom in this short film is Marj "Marge" Dusay - a well known actress, notable as "Kara", from the Star Trek episode, "Spock's Brain".

Marj Dusay was like family because she was everywhere in the 1960's, making appearances on The Wild Wild West, Bonanza, Hawaii Five-O, Mod Squad; yeah, you get the picture!

In the video short, "1999 A,D.", Marj Dusay and the Family of the Future, gives us a glimpse of Things To  Come - a la 1967.
