May 9th, 2013 will be the premiere of the next film: 1973's Encounter With The Unknown.

Gonna have to re-schedule this viewing for May 11th, which is this Saturday. I am having some trouble getting this film to play properly in the theater for some reason, even though it is encoded and of the same file type as the others. Sorry for the delay.

Continuing issues with getting the movie to play in the theater is making it necessary to reschedule the viewing until this coming Thursday (May 15).

I think the problem may be a compatibility issue with my editing software and Windows 8 on my new Alienware desktop. I am upgrading my editing software to the newest version to see if it helps. Hang in there!

I was able to use the updated software on my Alienware desktop to make a file that loads properly in the theater... FINALLY!!!

So, the movie is on for this Thursday!

*barring no further problems pop up!*

Anybody showing up in the theater tonight? So I know whether or not to open it. Let me know here.

Basically, considering the problems I had before, I'm not gonna bother with trying the theater again until I get a internet connection faster than 2 MB down. (I believe those problems were due to the slow service I have, not something on the site's end.) And that change will be after I resolve the house renovations I'm undergoing.

It is a virtual theater, that exists on a page on the site. We watch a movie together (the film streams to all in attendance simultaneously). There are four illustrated characters in the rear of the theater that add their commentary as the film rolls. There is also a chatbox for everyone to discuss the movie as it plays. Sometimes, at the end of the movie, a pot of points is awarded randomly to someone in attendance.
