I don't think there's too many family films by del Toro, so it'll be interesting to see how this plays out.

The question is, can magic still happen to a story that's been told sooo many times?

Good question. It would be nice to see it have the same magic the animated film did.

Every image has a creepy factor to it. Maybe this severe style will grow on me.
