As shown from the Japanese Twitter account from Nintendo, Mario creator Shigeru Miyamoto has recently shared news of an upcoming Legend of Zelda film in development. No announced date or year has been given on when we'll expect it as of posting this, but hopefully after all the years that have past from the wounds that the 1993 Super Mario Bros. movie left from the box office and critics alike, this adaptation of the Zelda series could be worth watching.

I can see this being a hit film, seeing Nintendo's involved in it.

Hopefully with at least Nintendo's supervision it should be good, can't say the same for the choice of director though.
