While I havn't seen Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire, yet, my watchlist is jammed with first reviews from some of my favorite online commentators.

Now everyone here understands that a Great Movie has a way of hiding all the "mechanics" that go into a film project. The 1984 Ghostbusters is so good that no one sees the deal-making, script changes, edits on the cutting room floor, and the product merchandising - in case the movie is a hit.

Every attempt to recapture that "1984 lightening in a bottle", can't hide the visible money grab that's the driving force behind all sequels. It takes an exceptional movie to paper-over the obvious capitalist intentions at play.

I think we can all agree that we mainly went to see it to get that Slimer popcorn bucket

Midnight's Edge After Dark, (MEAD), has me excited to see this movie. Some of my usual YouTube reviewers are being too harsh, but a few are giving Frozen Empire a second/third looksee - and that's a good thing!
