I sure enjoy watching old clips from '60's television and movies. Lately, I can't shake the feeling that people were different back during my childhood - not "better", just different.

More than 50 years has passed since this clip from "I Dream of Jeannie" first aired on NBC. November 11, 1969.

My father was born in 1969. Just the other day he was doing some organizing of his things and pulled out one of those books that tells you the cost of things from the year you were born and other details of what life was like back then.

Depressing and cool at the same time.

I still have my World Book 1969 Yearbook. It's waay more fun to cruise the web and find stuff I remember from childhood. Watching television was such a joy back in the day, now I spend almost all my time online.

I keep my books on the shelf.
