Thelma is elderly and cranky, but she's a scream!

Not a bad show in it's day. Not one of those "must see" shows though. It got left on when nothing better was on.

I got the entire series on eBay for about 38 bucks. Sweet deal. Other places charge from 60 to 100 dollars! Ridiculous!

A lot of people will say that their sick days home from school was watching Wheel Of Fortune. Mine in Jr High was patiently waiting for Little House On The Prairie to be over so that Mama's Family would be on. Sometimes Three's Company would be on instead. This was all on TBS mid mornings in the early to mid 90s. I might be messing up the time frame, as it COULD be that the good shows were on first and then when Little House hit I knew the good stuff was over for the morning bhwhahaha. I don't HATE Little House, in fact sometimes i'd find myself watching it consistently. It's just not my favorite. I was actually named after someone on the show. The youngest daughter Carrie had an episode where she was feeling alone because everyone was always too busy for her. She met an imaginary friend who I guess we're supposed to assume was her guardian angel, actually played by her twin. I was named Alyssa after the imaginary friend.

@Dalek: Ha! That’s awesome that your name was derived from a TV show character. We actually named our daughter Elliotte because it seemed like a great female name on Scrubs
