Michael Jackson worked on the music for Sonic the Hedgehog 3, but refused to be credited! I learned about this while listening to his song Remember the Time on the 90s channel from Music Choice, which is a lineup of different music channels.

He also refused to be credited when he was the first guest star on The Simpsons, in the only good episode of The Simpsons to feature a one-off celebrity guest star.

I used to think that it really was him, but later on in life, I found out it was an impersonator.

The singing was. Jackson himself did the speaking parts, and the impersonator was his idea.

I would think he would want it the other way around, with an impersonator doing the speaking. That's... different. Of course, this is Michael we're talking about here.
