If you owned a Sega Genesis in the early 90's, you almost assuredly either owned or heard of Mutant League Football.



The game was a much larger cult hit than I remember it being. It even spawned 40 episodes of a cartoon series!



And... toys???



And now, the game's creator has begun a Kickstarter campaign to create a sequel/reboot called Mutant Football League. I hope he succeeds!

i never did get to play this game but i saw it featured in an issue of gamepro a long time ago. it always brings me back to pigskin footbrawl on the sega genesis violence hooray!

My favorite from those guys was the basketball title in the arcades.
