i remember one time when sonic & knuckles released one of my neighborhood friends said that if knuckles got all of the chaos emeralds his super form had a projected image of himself on a ceiling of a level. i had high expectations for it, only to see that it wasn't true

I can't say I have a friend, or anyone for that matter, claim knowledge of a secret of any kind, but I KNOW I have had it told to me that they had completed games which I had no doubt they did not actually complete.
Speaking of game secrets and rumors... GameTrailers' show POP FICTION is one of my favorite game related shows. If you have not already heard of/watched the show, it is a must see.  You love this signature.
