| 43208 | Sony Cassette Tape Makes a Comeback |
jkatz wrote :
When cassettes first came out their main draw was portability, but you were limited by how many cassettes you could carry (not to mention the hassle of flipping them over from side to side and fast forwarding/rewinding). In today's age where you can stream virtually any album on your phone, I honestly don't know why anybody would chose an inferior format over that, unless it's a misplaced sense of nostalgia or some hipster-ish contrarian need to make things unnecessarily more difficult and inconvenient.

Seriously, I know we all love the retro here, but as somebody who grew up using cassette tapes, I don't miss them at all.
-end quote
Same. I'd get a few to collect, but I don't miss them lol | ThatDudeintheHoodie | Jul 12, 2019 | |
| 43207 | Sony Cassette Tape Makes a Comeback |
I spent like 2 months looking for a boom box with cassette player. They are so hard to find. I just have some tapes I like to listen to.

| pikachulover | Jul 12, 2019 | |

| 43205 | Video game tracks. |
getting all of the time stones in sonic cd rewards you with the good ending of sonic cd, but aside from that you notice that the future versions of each level have been saved. in the final zone, metallic madness you see that both future machinery and animals exist harmoniously and the music that accompanies it has you aware that while you've saved the planet, you still have one last match against robotnik.

| Benjanime | Jul 12, 2019 | |

| 43203 | The Café | So I just tried to upload a video for the videos section, aaaaaand there's no 'submit' button. Did I miss something- are we no longer allowed to submit videos? Or is this website just fng up again?

As I was typing this I got an error message: "You can not add more than 3 smilies". Which is fine...if you would let me add a third one!

Disregard the above. I totally missed the "max submissions awaiting approval" part. Boy do I feel stupid. Well, more than usual anyway.

But yeah, I guess if all this time there are videos needing to be approved and nobody's done it yet, I'l volunteer to do it.

| jkatz | Jul 12, 2019 | |
