Sadly, Dan Haggerty passed away at 74.

I enjoyed Grizzly Adams when I was able to watch it on TV. I was mesmerized by this man and his affinity for bears.

It's crazy to think he worked openly with such dangerous animals. I can't imagine many stars doing that these days, with everyone being so quick to litigate everything under the sun.

I'll be SO glad when this week of deaths is over.

Grizzly Adams did have a beard.

Funny thing about that part of Happy Gilmore... when Trevino first says something about him having a beard, I actually had to think about it for a second (when I saw the movie the first time).
