If it's "beyond retro" that's okay too.

One album that I recommend is the Beatles' "Abbey Road" album.

So what era would we consider retro, and in what year would "retro" become "classic?" Hmmm.  There's TONS of stuff I'd recommend in the 50s-60s, but I'm, going to asuume we're looking more at 70s, 80s, 90s?

I'm a huge jazz fan.

One album I enjoy is Cannonball Adderley's "Live at the Club" (They were really playing at a Capitol Records studio with an invited audience there.)

You know, it's been so long since I saw it, I didn't remember it had any Christmas tie ins at all. I'll have to watch it this coming season.

From 1988, the soundtrack for Killer Klowns from Outer Space by The Dickies!!!

You guys got me thinking about the end of the 70's and the start of my favorite decade!

The Brothers Johnson released an album called, "Light Up The Night" - 1980.

Groovy, funky tune, edd.

Why this album or the song didn't get a Grammy nomination, I'll never know.
