ArticlemassrealityI look forward to seeing what part 2 has to offer. Two failed pilots that come to mind are the Clerks TV show and Heat Vision and Jack. Feb 18, 2017View
ArticleLazloMy first job in high school was as a cashier/stockperson at Eckerd Drugs. This was back in 1986. Eckerds has since been taken over by CVS, so it too is a relic of an earlier era (before working there, I remember going there with my family as a very young kid in the '70s). Those were the days. I do remember ringing up candy, cosmetics, cigarettes, meds of different sorts. One thing we didn't have was an ice cream counter though . . . interesting cylindrical look to that ice cream scoop!! 3765ArticleVaporman87Great idea for a list Rick, and well executed. There is a wealth of great games here, most of which I never tuned in to watch... so breaking them down for me was helpful. LOLMy 10 Favorite Super Bowl Games Part 1Feb 21, 2017View
ArticleVaporman87There are a lot of favorites of mine in this list. I can't imagine a more complete list of "LOVE" songs. Even a few in here I had all but forgotten. Thanks Old School.Top 80 Songs from the 80s with LOVE in the TitleFeb 21, 2017View
ArticleVaporman87Hey don't be dissin' Crunch 'N Munch now! It was the snack I... had to go with because nothing else was present in the pantry at the time. And it tasted fair! And who wouldn't want to be SweetTarts Man, really? He has the power to create teeth-rotting snacks on demand. As far as Combo-Man: Would those gauntlets be part of Deadpool? I don't know, probably not. And maybe Mr. Fantastic thighs? Hard to tell.Marvel Comics Food Ads of the 90'sFeb 21, 2017View
ArticleVaporman87My word... there is so much gold here. I know a few times I have encountered EXO Man on the web, with people trying to claim it as an "Iron Man" TV series. Yeah, right. But man alive... John Denver the butt-kicking agent, tiny crime fighters and claymation guys??? I want all of these ideas thrown into one series. Let's call it "Z Force" and have Scott Bakula play the role of "Z", who sends his minions out into the world to solve global mysteries in their funky, pastel-colored minivan. 3769ArticleLazloThe '80s was that quirky time that featured both "Endless Love" and "Bizarre Love Triangle." I remember them fondly. Very cool fact about Chrissie Hynde singing on U2's "Pride in the Name of Love."Top 80 Songs from the 80s with LOVE in the TitleFeb 21, 2017View
ArticlejkatzI saw footage of EXOman used in that "70s Avengers Into" video that was making the rounds online a few years ago. Cool to finally know where it's originally from. As far as pilots that didn't get picked up go, Heat Vision and Jack had a lot of potential going for it.Wackiest Failed TV Pilots Part 2Feb 22, 2017View
ArticleHoju Koolander@Vaporman87 I like your Z Force idea. They didn't work separately, but with their pilot powers combined... @jkatz Yeah, Heat Vision and Jack is probably the most well known failed TV pilot, but it wasn't laughably bad, just a missed opportunity.Wackiest Failed TV Pilots Part 2Feb 22, 2017View
ArticleHoju KoolanderI feel like I learned a lot about Chaka Khan's involvement in the 80s music scene despite the fact that I don't recall any of her actual music. The Greatest Love of All by Whitney Houston has a special place in my heart because my elementary school class performed the song in sign language for some assembly in the late 80s. Being a KISS fan, the one you missed was "I Love It Loud" off the Creatures of the Night album in 1982, but that was during the band's down period, so I don't blame you.Top 80 Songs from the 80s with LOVE in the TitleFeb 22, 2017View
