3596 | Article | vkimo | Now this is what I've been waiting for, a great sampling of retro toys! Those playsets always looked so bland without stickers or figures and I was always kind of bummed when no figures were included. These were a little before my time but I definitely had the hand me downs later on. Nice work again, your article formatting is getting cleaner by the minute! | Dec 18, 2016

5644 | Article | Vaporman87 | Now you're speaking my language! I remember NONE of these cereals. Then again, I was in college for majority of the runs these cereals enjoyed. I love how crazy the gimmicks became as the '80s progressed and we headed into the '90s. Anything was fair game. Unlike nowadays, where we get next to no fun gimmicks, mascots, or funky flavors. | Rarely Remembered Cereals | Jun 15, 2022

3919 | Article | Vaporman87 | Obviously the most memorable was the "This is your brain on drugs" ads, but I also recall the "snake man" ad and some others you mentioned. These were mostly reminders of the state of affairs in the country at the time as opposed to actual deterrents. Even so, it is possible that somebody was affected by them enough to think twice about getting involved in the drug scene. | Memories of PDFA, and other PSA’s | Jun 08, 2017
1798 | Article | Mr Magic | Oddly enough, Capcom never produced a Gummi Bears game. | The Disney Afternoon Revisited | Jan 16, 2015
3961 | Article | mickyarber | Of course I had the GI Joe lunch box, and I remember the mad scientist line of toys. My cousin Stevie had them, and like so many of his toys, the rest of us weren't allowed to touch them. I still need to get around to writing that "Stevie the Tyrant" article. Great read as always my friend. | Antique Store Finds: Reborn | Jun 22, 2017
1865 | Article | pikachulover | Of course I remember the modeling school ads and the insurance ones they would show them during Punky Brewster all the time. "Call Survival now!" | Model Student | Jan 30, 2015
4331 | Article | Vaporman87 | Of course I’m partial to the MOTU promos here (especially since they include rad bot Roboto), but I’ve got to admit the Mickey dressed like Crockett is sweet. | Retro Comic Book Ads and Commercials | Mar 26, 2018 |
