3772ArticleHoju KoolanderI feel like I learned a lot about Chaka Khan's involvement in the 80s music scene despite the fact that I don't recall any of her actual music. The Greatest Love of All by Whitney Houston has a special place in my heart because my elementary school class performed the song in sign language for some assembly in the late 80s. Being a KISS fan, the one you missed was "I Love It Loud" off the Creatures of the Night album in 1982, but that was during the band's down period, so I don't blame you. Feb 22, 2017View
3774ArticlejkatzPretty extensive list, this is-there's quite a few songs here that I never heard of, let alone listened to. Leonard Cohen's "Dance Me to the End of Love" would've been a good addition. Top 80 Songs from the 80s with LOVE in the TitleFeb 24, 2017View

3791ArticleHoju KoolanderI have always had a soft spot for oldies as well and went to a 60's superstars show at a county fair around 1989 where acts like The Monkees, Bobby "Boris" Pickett (The Monster Mash) and The Tokens ( The Lion Sleeps Tonight) among others performed, it was great. I would have loved to see all those Grandmas freaking out at your show.Salute to the '60sMar 22, 2017View
3794ArticleSupermanHoju, I'm enough of an oldies fan that I recognize all of those names. I bet they were a lot of fun to see.Salute to the '60sMar 23, 2017View
3809ArticleLazloI love '60s music!! As an '80s kid, while I loved my own era's music, I also often found myself nostalgic for the particular style and creativity of the '60s. And I wasn't alone, because '60s nostalgia was very big back then. About a year ago, I got to see Peter Noone, of Herman's Hermits performing at Epcot in Orlando, Florida, and he will be performing there soon again. Great concert!Salute to the '60sMar 29, 2017View
