Article | Julie | You're fine, my sweet @Benjanime. ❤❤ What takes my attention most is enemies not getting hurt by stage hazards. Rare is the game where it doesn't happen, to this day. Blind jumps do still exist, and the newest game where you'll face that is Pac-Man World Re-Pac. Cheating opponents A.I.? Only after playing SNK Neo-Geo AES fighting games on the real hardware it's when I really, really knew what it's all about. The difficulty is insane, completely cheating! Even playing on the easiest difficulty mode, different on playing on emulators. You know, emulators never accurately reproduce the opponents A.I. from real consoles, it's always a very different experience. Great article as always, my sweet love. ❤❤ | Sep 02, 2022 | ![]() |
Article | Benjanime | You're good, it's an otherwise great article :) | Sega Genesis Games I Owned | Oct 27, 2019 | ![]()
Article | Superman | You're like me in that neither of us ever had a Disney vacation growing up, but it sounds like you, again like me, had a lot of fun anyways with the things you did get to do. This was an enjoyable read. | Theme Parks: Adventures in New England | Jun 20, 2018 | ![]()
Article | pikachulover | You're lucky you had nice time. Mine was traumatizing. The strange thing was there were a lot of kids in my class who failed kindergarten and were there for another year so they knew what to do. I was just a rookie. | My First Day of Kindergarten | Jan 23, 2015 | ![]()
Article | Hoju Koolander | You're right about Ecto-Cooler, the hunt for the green elixir was the real heart of the experience. It took me 3 months of searching until a friend finally tipped me off about an end-cap display at a local market. I drank my supply for 6 months straight and loved it. For some reason the Original New York Seltzers were always being sold at frozen yogurt shops in my area as a kid and as a result, the soda and frozen yogurt are forever linked in my brain. | Reviewing the Retro Soda Comebacks | Oct 24, 2018 | ![]()
Article | vkimo | You're right about smells. I was at WalMart and got a whiff of marshmallows that totally took me back in time. Same thing with crayons. I'm also glad the pictures for re-sized. They were breaking the page in edit mode haha | Retro Rooms | Feb 10, 2013 | ![]()
Article | Hoju Koolander | You're right, despite the constant fighting, comic book heroes do often represent the best ideals of humanity, even in the face of "evil". Spider-Man especially with The Lizard, Green Goblin or even Venom always tried to talk sense into his foes, understanding they were mentally unwell. | My Super Childhood | Sep 24, 2017 | ![]()
Article | Hoju Koolander | You're right. I mean Marvel still has a lot of their movie characters on Doritos, Skittles and even Kleenex boxes around the time of movie release dates, but those are movie tie-ins, not the illustrated comic book characters promoting Go-Gurt for example. You see The Avengers everywhere, but it's like movie concept art. Meanwhile the original inspirations for the live action adventures are relegated to dollar store merchandise, it's a sad state of affairs indeed. | Spider-Man Food Ads of the 90's | Apr 24, 2017 | ![]()
Article | Hoju Koolander | You're video game stories are always the best. This doesn't beat your Nintendo story for strange acquisitions (no prisoners had a Genesis to sell this year, huh?) But it definitely wins for best emotional roller coaster and happy ending. Like so many of us here, I can relate on the divorced parents at holidays deal, but luckily my Mom's boyfriend's grandson was a cool kid and became one of my best friends, which helped smooth over the weirdness. | A Very Sega Christmas | Dec 13, 2016 | ![]()
