40594Famous dogs<div><div>Man, I am not a dog person. But they seem to be great fodder for pop culture characters. There are so many in this thread that I like. My first addition would be Rude Dog.</div><div><br></div><img src="http://www.retro-daze.org/images/postImages/1535868817Rude_Dog_by_goaferboy.png" width="400" height="400"> <br><br> Mascot of a 80s skateboard clothing company and subsequent star of Saturday morning cartoon "Rude Dog and the Dweebs" , I can't help but think this Jack Nicholson accented, Soho-loft life, classic car mechanic character was inspired by sun surf and girls party animal /Budweiser mascot Spuds Mckenzie.I mean, I definitely associated them at the time. <br></div><div><br></div><div><img src="/images/postImages/1535869376spudshawaiian.jpg" width="364" height="272">&nbsp; <img src="/images/postImages/1535869399spudz.jpg" width="210" height="271">&nbsp;&nbsp; <img src="/images/postImages/1535869418Spuds-MacKenzie-Red-Clay-Soul-3.jpg" width="448" height="429"><br></div><div> <br></div><div><br></div><div>It's funny how kids' cartoons used to have an acceptable crossover with adult products and entertainment. </div>shakin steakSep 02, 2018View

40589NickSplatLast I heard about the Rocko's Modern Life TV Movie, the production had wrapped up back in February. My guess is that they're going to wait until Thanksgiving to air the TV movie. We might see more info revealed during the fall before the TV movie premieres.<div><br></div><div>I remember with Hey Arnold: The Jungle Movie, we got the Comic Con trailer last year, and then we didn't get more info until around October of that year. That might be the same we'll see with Rocko's Modern Life. But either way, I don't see any reason why they would delay it until 2019.</div>blueluigiSep 01, 2018View
40588NickSplatI thought they were going to release the Rocko movie this Thanksgiving like they did with The Jungle Movie last Thanksgiving.<br>Mr MagicAug 31, 2018View

40585NickSplatI kind of go both ways when it comes to TV shows and movies. I do torrent them, but when it's available on a streaming platform like Netflix, I would more likely watch it on there than when it's downloaded on the computer. Of course, more than anything, I'd prefer to own the shows on DVD and Blu-ray.blueluigiAug 31, 2018View
