51469Sam Neill died at 78
That stinks. Everyone is going to talk about Jurassic Park and even Event Horizon, but he also deserves recognition for In the Mouth of Madness. Not a superb film but Neill was great in it as the main character.

I didn't realize how many actors from the first Jurassic Park film we have already lost. We have also lost the actors who played Hammond and Muldoon, Jophery Brown who played the guy who was killed at the start of the film and the two voice actors for the tour.
Rick Ace RhodesJul 13, 2026View

51467Bonnie Tyler dies at 75
Total Eclipse Of The Heart was one of the first MTV videos that really stuck with me. The weird angels with lighted eyes were definitely hard to forget.
Vaporman87Jul 10, 2026View
51466Sony is killing physical video games

Benjanime wrote:

People on Twitter are already predicting a second video game crash, but it seems Sony is trying to pull in the anti-digital gamers by discounting PS Plus subscription prices.

-end quote

I don't know about a second video game crash. The factors that allowed the first one to occur aren't really a thing anymore. The industry took their lessons from the first one and created a much more stable structure that can't necessarily be brought down in the same way that was done in the 80s.

We definitely however are witnessing a big transition point in the history of gaming. The industry is going to evolve into something different than anything we have seen previously. I just hope it ends up being something good.
Rick Ace RhodesJul 10, 2026View

For the past two decades it seemed like the french fries were not only drenched in grease, but too much salt was put on them as well, but my parents would go there as a go-to whenever they were hurting for money.

BenjanimeJul 09, 2026View
