1994, middle school, age eleven. Dookie changed my life. Later that year I would nearly be eaten by a bear retrieving Kerplunk and a boombox from the family van. That's an exaggeration, but my oldest friend did almost let me walk into it. 'It' being the bear. Good times.

Anybody buy those Punk-o-rama CDs? My friend collected those.

There was even a local Punk-o-rama tv show. It was just a giant informecial by Epitaph records.

I had a few of those. I also had a comp called "short music for short people." 51 thirty second punk songs by various artists.
