That's understandable for sure. Everything is well with the family. If I could figure out how to keep the kids from growing up so fast, it would be even better.

Shrek-

I love this movie. Great soundtrack and really captures the early 2000s with the soundtrack. Nice, simple twist on the fairytale genre. Of course it spiraled out of control with the sequels, but I'll always enjoy the original.

Haha that song never fails to get me pumped. 

Just finished Captain Ron (1992) 

This movie carries a 20% rating on Rotten Tomatoes and 5/10 on IMDB. This movie is one of the reasons I generally refuse to judge something on the opinion of others. Maybe I'm just nostalgic but this movie was so fun and colorful. I last saw this year's ago but I went fishing the other day at the marina and came home in the mood to watch it, Comcast had it on demand luckily. Great 90s gem that kind of fell away.

I would like it just for the fact that Kurt Russell was in it. I'll watch pretty much anything he is in and give it at least a few stars just because of that fact.

But yes, just because a film has low ratings from most folks, doesn't mean I'll feel the same either. People generally despise The Postman, but I always thought it was fun and enjoyable. Those people just have crappy taste, that's all.

Postman is great! I liked Waterworld too oddly enough, since everyone thinks its terrible.

We need to see a Snake Plisken Captain Ron crossover though, those eye patches are tight!

Hook (30%) is the most egregious example of a bad tomatometer. Sure its has its flaws, but overall the movie is excellent.
