Happy Death Day

You know, for a modern-day horror film, it wasn't too bad. I like it!

I always like a horror film where the killer's identity remains a secret. It makes it all the more interesting.

4 stars.

Watched Alien and Aliens back to back and it was magical! The transition between the two films with Ripley in the escape pod is flawless. I would highly recommend viewing them as one film.

The Last House on the Left (Original)

I think calling this a scary movie would be a total understatement. What makes it even scarier is that it's inspired by real events.

Wanna see a true nail-biter? See this one!

Kindergarten Cop (1990)

Man...such a classic and I feel like one of Arnold's less appreciated films. Great humor, great action and hits you in the feels. I felt bad for Cullen though, he was just a dad who wanted to see his son. I mean, what dad wouldn't bash a guys head in to get his son a race car track? Astoria is such a beautiful city and I would love to visit there someday. This movie is great, for being filmed in 1990 - it seems to show almost no 80s residue.

Back to School (1986)

IMHO, Rodney Dangerfield's best film. His one-liners made this film a laugh riot from start to finish. One of my favorite scenes in the film is when the history teacher (played by Sam Kinision) has a meltdown over the Vietnam War.

A robust 5 out of 5.

The Hunt For Red October

In 1988, John McTiernan gave us a groundbreaking Box Office smash hit known as Die Hard. In 1990, he gave us another Box Office hit known as The Hunt For Red October. Like so many great movies, this one grabs my attention. The story, acting and soundtrack is just tremendous. I just adore this movie! McTiernan had a knack for filmmaking.

100 stars!

The Princess Bride (1987)

Mix a bit of romance and fantasy, and add some comedy and action, what do you get? One of Rob Reiner's best films to date. Mandy Patinkin steals the show as Inigo Montoya.

"Hello, my name is Inigo Montoya. You killed my father. Prepare to die!"

Highly recommend it!
