Yesterday I made the mistake of playing Total Domination and Criminal Case after years away from both. Today I am addicted once more.

Are those board games?

They are both computer games. Much like FarmVille, they are free-to-play games that can be found on Facebook as well as various app stores. Total Domination is this military science-fiction strategy game where you set up a colony, build up an army and raid other colonies to build up your own. Criminal Case is this point and click puzzle game where you have to solve murders throughout a city.

Back in High School I played Total Domination all the time. Many fun nights were had playing with friends. In college I played Criminal Case. I have played either since around 2016. Yesterday I decided to check things out again for old times sake. Because Flash is no longer supported I can no longer play Total Domination on Facebook and thus had to download it through the publishers service. Criminal Case however is still working just fine on Facebook. I was able to pick up exactly where I left off.

Those have definitely been on there for 30 plus years. Some of those look like they may have been on there since the 70's.

I have to show my dad this. Having grown up in that area he'll get a kick out of this. He probalby knows all of those radio stations and television channels.

How did everyone based in the northeast fare with snow today? We got about a foot, maybe a little bit more. Not as bad as I thought it would be, I was hearing up to twenty inches. It stopped snowing before the morning hit and then the sun was out for the rest of the day.

I feel bad for everyone involved in that interstate crash. They were warning people to stay off the roads all week heading into the storm. They even sent out a emergency message last night telling people to get off them. Some people just couldn't listen.

The Cleveland Indians are officially changing their name. Well, for goodness' sake, don't call yourselves the Cleveland Baseball Team!

One of my mother's aunts sent us a Christmas card yesterday. She included several pictures of my mom and her sibling from when they were kids. It was funny looking at those. My uncle almost looked like a carbon clone of my sister when he was an infant.

A scene from Christmas Vacation has been re-created. 

Sure, the house is lit up in its Christmas glory, but that's not what family is interested in.
