I'm wondering how bad things are for members in North Carolina and Virginia. Ben... Brandon... what's it like for you guys?

Well I live in Virginia in the Prince William County area and as of right now there's just a ton of snow. I think they're still in the middle of plowing. At least this morning it's nice and sunny for the most part and the snow has stopped and no more wind. If the weather keeps up maybe the ice on the roads will melt and it'll be safer to travel.

Mr Magic
Saruman, I thought you lived in Mississippi.

I used to live in Mississippi, it's where I grew up. I moved to Virginia for a new job since there's absolutely none in Web Development over there. VA is much nicer and there's much more to do around here!

Edit:
Not sure why there's always a blank line before everything I post. I'm not putting that there. Not using any HTML either. Might be a CSS bug or something.

Edit:
Ah nevermind. I think I see why. I have no signature. Seems the CSS isn't taking into account the padding of the missing .sign div and thus the extra space. Oh well maybe one day when I can think of something to put there I'll add one.

I never even noticed that before. But sure enough, there's that extra empty line up there. Like many things about this site, it's one of those anomalies that got overlooked. The signature seems to be a source of at least a few of those, chiefly the inability of some to use the "Quote" function, if there is a text signature present. Yet, others like myself have a text sig and I have no problems.

What's the outlook for the week ahead? Will everyone sit-tight or try for business as usual?

My area should warm up throughout the week. Given that all the sidewalks and roads have been thoroughly plowed, it look's like this week should be normal.

It's looking like business as usual here. Even school will be back in session tomorrow. Pretty much all the State and County roads are plowed. A few Township roads still need attention.

I'm still using my snowman soap dispenser that I got over the holidays. The soap has a scent of fresh-baked gingerbread cookies. Mmmmm.

It's been fairly warm for a few days. That's made things wet and muddy.
