I agree. Trouble in Tokyo at least feels like a proper conclusion to the series. It might have some flaws but overall it ends the series on a high note, allowing the series to have no further accomplishments it needs to meet.

I feel like that was a big problem with a lot of the DC Universe cartoons (I know Teen Titans isn't technically labeled as one, but in all honesty it is). A lot of them just did not have great episodes to end their series on. Batman Beyond's was okay, but nothing special (plus it got delayed because of 9/11). The New Batman Adventures final episode was interesting, but left a lot to be desired. Static Shock's was nothing to write home about.

The only show that really had a great episode to conclude on was Justice League Unlimited.

well the real final episode  of teen titans was weird because they were planning on  another season and it was meant to be a cliffhanger but then they scratched season 6 and  just ended it abruptly and trouble in tokyo was a rushed out movie  done for no other reason to give them a proper ending but missed  it to me because it seemed watered down and only robin and starfire got a real conclusion what about  beastboy and raven or cyborg they were just there for robin and starfire's moment  and i felt that if they were going to do a final movie to wrap up the series then they could have done better i mean include slade into the final make it epic give everyone what they want put tera in the episode and let beastboy have some closure on that deal maybe he and raven  get a real  relationship or something.

What kills me about the decision with the series finale is that the two part episode that aired before this would have been a nice episode to wrap up the series. It had the Titans fighting against the Brotherhood of Evil, and for that, it showed not only most of the Teen Titans villians used throughout the series, but even some of the allies that worked with the Titans in past episodes. I would have been fine if the show ended on that, but then the final episode just opened up with another mystery that left viewers hanging (and it was briefly referenced in the Teen Titans Go episode, The Fourth Wall). I was hoping they would have shown more about that in Trouble in Tokyo, but ended up being a disappointed.

I guess the problem is (especially with children's cartoon's) you never know what's going to be your last episode or your last season.

I mean, look at Reboot's cliffhanger series finale. They didn't intend for that to be the final episode, they still had four more episodes left to end the series properly. Instead they got cancelled and those final four episode were never produced.

It is a rumor. There has been rumors about it for years, with them even making jokes about it on Teen Titans Go!

I remember liking the original show but this "Go" series looks like garbage. I don't like the drastic change in art style. Seems completely stupid and unnecessary

So, Teen Titans GO To The Movies is now out in theaters. I might see it. Wasn't planning on seeing it in theaters, but if there's nothing else playing, I might do so.

Anyway, the post credits sequence to this film dropped one massive bomb: a surprise cameo of the OG Teen Titans counterparts with this huge teaser.

Yes, people. It looks like Season 6 of the original Teen Titans series may actually be happening. There's been a lot of rumors and speculation that's been going on about it. Some that's even been hinted by the voice-actors with Tara Strong saying that it will happen if the movie does well. When that was going on, I pretty much took all that with a grain of salt. But now, after seeing this 20 second clip used in the movie... I'm starting to believe it now.

Also, if it does happen, I hope it uses the animation style used in that short clip if not better, because it looks phenomenal. Plus, it gives the original Teen Titans a very brief appearance on the big screen which is pretty cool too.

I know it could be argued that this could still be a troll move, but I kind of doubt it. That would be a lot of effort just to troll the fanbase. But who knows.

I know the kids will love it, and I'm a fan of TTG, so I'm thinking we may go check it out this weekend.
